Finnish phone manufacturer Nokia has unveiled its new feature phone, the Nokia 225, which the company termed as its slimmest Internet-enabled phone in the budget category. The Nokia 225 will be available both in single- and dual-SIM versions, and will have several color options, including white, black, yellow, green and red.
The phone weights less than 100 grams and has a measurement of just 124 x 55.5 x 10.4 mm. The phone has a 2.8-inch QVGA LCD Transmissive display, and has a dust- and splash-resistant keypad.
The phone also has several other impressive features, such as mini SIM card, 2-megapixel main camera sensor with 2x digital zoom, video recording, capture and scene modes, light sensitivity adjustments, Bluetooth for wireless transfers, microUSB port and 3.5mm audio connector.
The phone is equipped with a 1,200mAh battery that offers a standby time of up to 27 days and 36 days for the dual-SIM model and the single-SIM version respectively. The phone has a little internal storage capacity, but has an option of a microSD card slot for up to 32B of additional memory. Additionally, Nokia 225 comes preloaded with Facebook and Twitter.
Both the versions of the phone are scheduled to be available in the market this quarter, but Nokia has not yet revealed the exact date of the launch.
