Sony Xperia Z2 Avatar vs Nexus 5 vs iPhone 5s: The Phone to Buy in New Year?

iPhone-5SSony is all geared to launch its new armament in the year 2014. The Xperia Z2Avatar has already surfaced online and the rumors mills are already in an overdrive mode, churning new reports everyday of the Avatar model’s specs and features.

It is rumored that Sony will be installing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core 2.2 GHz processor under the Xperia Z2’s hood. The Z2 Avatar model will also likely be equipped with LTE technology and will be supporting imaging sensor and camera lens sensor. However, it is likely that Qualcomm might launch a new processor in the coming year which would be exclusively powering Sony devices. The Xperia Z2 Avatar model is likely to pack in 2 GB RAM cache. Additionally, it is likely that the Xperia Z2 will feature a  20.7- megapixel primary shooter, equipped with Xenon flash  rather than LED flash for enhanced lighting factor in poor light conditions and ensuring less blur on the captured image. Also, the camera of the Xperia Z2 could be carved from Sony G Lens which comes with Carl Zeiss optics.

The Google Nexus 5 is a stellar device in a true sense. It sports a 5-inch stunning display and is the largest phone in the Nexus smartphone portfolio. The Nexus 5 runs on Stock Android and delivers an exceptional performance. Indeed, using this device is pure joy. The Nexus 5 is also first phone that runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS version. KitKat will integrate the hangouts and SMSes, so it feels slightly confusing in the beginning.
