We’re just a day away from getting our first official glimpse of the Samsung Galaxy S4, and boy, are we excited! But in the meantime, while we were browsing through our channels for more rumors about this flagship phone, we got to know about Google’s rumored upcoming phone, the Motorola X. This is the first actual product resulting out of Google’s partnership with Motorola and we wonder just how well it will do against the Galaxy S4.
Samsung Galaxy S4: From the image leaked by Samsung a couple of days ago, we can see that it does bear a resemblance to its predecessor, the Galaxy S3. So for those of you who were expecting to see almost no bezel and an end-to-end screen, well, there’s none of that. But yes, we’re almost certain that it will have a 5-inch full HD screen and will run on Android 4.2. It’s possible that the Galaxy S4 could run on Samsung’s brand new octo-core Exynos 5 processor and 2 GB of RAM. Of course there are also rumors that the phone could be equipped with eye tracking and floating touch features, giving it quite a futuristic feel. And then there’s got to be at least a 13 MP rear camera. But for more, we’ll have to wait for just a while more.
Motorola X: To start with, this phone’s been made through a partnership with the makers of
Android, so in all likelihood, it will debut with Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie when it comes out. Like the Galaxy S4, the Motorola X could also support eye tracking to scroll through web pages. In terms of specs, we’ve heard that it could have a 4.7-inch full HD screen, and could be powered by a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 4i processor. The Motorola X is also rumored to have a 16 MP rear camera and a 5 MP one in the front, which will allow eye tracking. If Motorola plans to design it anything like its famous RAZR series, it could probably be an ultra-sharp looking phone as well.
