The absence of a touch pad on the highly functional iPad, packaged with plenty of keyboard accessories and features – fails to establish its repute as the perfect replacement for a laptop. However, its keyboard case serves to address many functions and provides the product with a distinctive identity of its own.

Type Cover touch pad – not a very effective throwback

The Surface’s Type Cover adds a lot of functionality to the product—with a little touch pad opening up doors for further productivity. It complements the 10-inch tablet design of the Surface Pro—making its working patterns similar to a laptop.
