Apple’s WWDC 2014 is set to begin on 2nd June as officially announced a few days ago. No sooner the announcement was made, chatter and rumors started to do the rounds. Several things are expected to happen in the conference.
However, people are more interested in the announcement of the latest versions of iPhone 6, iPad Mini 3, iPad Air 2, iWatch, Apple TV and other innovations by Apple. Thus, they are speculating about the release date and probable features of the devices lined up for launch.
There are some expectations that would need extremely hi-tech skills to meet but certain others can be easily incorporated in the updated versions. For instance, people are expecting MacBook Air to be updated with Retina display since this is the only laptop from the house of Apple without this feature.
MacBook Pro has most of the features that users might want. However, there is always scope to do better. Holding this thought, people are expecting Apple to announce just a quick low-key update of MacBook Pro. This is not much to ask for sure.
As far as Apple’s phone and tablets are concerned, it is speculated that the announcement of their launch will be made in the Worldwide Developers Conference, 2014. However, if you check the pattern, Apple never spoke about the launch of of iPhone, iPad Mini and iPad Air versions in any earlier WWDC. Apple usually chooses a later date to announce them. This year, the scenario is expected to be different.

Tech giant Apple has updated its entire line of MacBook Pros with the advanced fourth-generation Haswell processors from Apple, enhanced battery life and new graphics chips. What this implies is that all laptops from Apple, be it the MacBook Air or the MacBook Pro lines, will now be powered by latest CPUs from Intel as well as advanced graphics processors. However, there still remain some key differences between the various laptop lines from Apple. This means that it become quite difficult to decide which one to buy, a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro.
As far as internal specs are concerned, the MacBook Pro is an easy winner as compared to the MacBook Air. The MacBook Pro is powered by a 2.4 GHz, dual core Intel Core i5 processor. It packs in 4 GB RAM cache, Intel Iris Graphics and an option to select from 512 GB, 256 GB, or 128 GB solid-state drive. The 13-inch Macbook Pro is indeed a powerhouse able to handle virtually anything that you challenge it with.
If you are someone who lives out of the suitcase and travel a lot, then the MacBook Air is an ideal one for you and a perfect travel companion. The 13-inch and the 11-inch MacBook Air weight 3 pounds and 2.4 pounds respectively. The 15-inch Air is one pound heavier than the 13-inch one. The MacBook Air is a lot slim as compared to the MacBook pro. Both the 11-inch and the 13-inch MacBook Air are only 0.68 inches thick while the Pros are thick at 0.71 inches.
