Apple iPhone 5 Vs BlackBerry Z10 Vs LG Optimus L7: Would LG Optimus Take A Jump Ahead Of BlackBerry 10

The Mobile World Congress is yet to begin, but looks like phone-maker LG is getting rather impatient. Even before the event, LG has already unveiled its latest lineup, the Optimus L Series II. The company has mentioned 3 devices in this range – a 3.2-inch L3II, a 4-inch L5II and a 4.3-inch L7II. We’ve decided to compare the L7II today with the iPhone 5 and BlackBerry Z10 to see if it can pull away some customers from these two smartphones.

LG L7II: The LG L7II is a dual-sim smartphone with a 4.3-inch display. It will be powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor and 768 MB of RAM. The phone will come with 4 GB of internal storage and there’s also a microSD card slot for those who want more space. The L7II may seem on the lower side, spec-wise, but comes with a decent 8 MP rear camera with LED flash. The front camera, however, is just a VGA one. The L7II will run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and will have quite a powerful 2,460 mAh battery.

Apple iPhone 5: The iPhone 5 has a slightly smaller 4-inch display, but with a resolution of 640X1136 pixels. Powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core Apple A6 processor and 1 GB of RAM, it runs on Apple’s latest iOS 6. The iPhone 5 has an 8 MP camera in the rear, while the front-facing camera has a resolution of 1.2 MP. In terms of battery, it’s the smallest – just 1,440 mAh. A major downside of the iPhone 5 is the absence of a microSD card slot, so you’re stuck with the limited internal storage space.

BlackBerry Z10: This one has a slightly larger screen than the iPhone 5 – a 4.2-inch screen with a higher resolution of 356 ppi. The Z10 is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and 2 GB of RAM, and runs on BlackBerry 10. The phone has an internal storage of 16 GB but there’s also a microSD card slot for memory expansion. The Z10 has an 1,800 mAh battery which keeps it running for a long time. In terms of camera, it also has an 8 MP rear camera, but its front-facing 2 MP camera is the best among these three phones.… Read the rest
