IFA 2015, being held at Berlin, saw launch of two smartphones from Huawei—the G8 and the Mate S. the former will be up on the retail racks from this month itself and will come for about EUR 399. G8 will be first launced in UK, Egypt, China, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Germany and Taiwan.

With the G8, Huawei has gone bold by introducing hues such as gold and dark silver besides the plain white. We are excited about the phone that comes in a 5.5-incher full-HD display with a topping of 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass. Add to this a metal body, and you know Huawei has escalated ranks to premium zone.
The Inside Story
One specification that has us beaming over the G8 is presence of a fingerprint scanner—specifically the fingerprint sense 2.0 technology. Being incorporated with support for dual-SIM and 4G LTE, Huawei has hit the functionally meter high.
The 13 MP main shutter is already grabbing eyeballs and is the sensor’s sapphire protection. In addition, the main snapper sports make up mode, ISP foodie mode and RGBW sensor with built in OIS. Motorola is all set to get a control of the smartwatch market by launching the new Moto 360 on Wednesday at the IFA 2015 hosted in Berlin. The new wearable comes with a premium look that is expected to compel trendy users to get it in their collection instead of the traditional watches.
Available in cases of two-different sizes
Keeping in mind the different types of choices, the watch is made available in two different sizes. One of which is priced at $299, while the other is priced at $429. The price will not just vary with the size but also with the type of band users select for their watch. Even though it is a unisex watch, the company has planned 42mm case design for women 42mm as well as 46mm for men. Yet, 42mm watch suits best on slimmer wrist.
Apart from design, the makers are also careful about the sturdiness of the device and has used 316L aircraft-grade stainless steel for its manufacture. The screen is protected with a Corning Gorilla Glass.
While the look of the Moto 360 has created a hype among the users, many are excited to know about the light weight of the device. Though the device has been unveiled officially, it can now be booked only in the United States as global launch is planned in the coming days.
