HTC One is not coming to UK until March 29th. HTC itself has confirmed the postponed date of HTC One release.
An official statement was reported by Android Central “We will start fulfilling pre-orders by end March in certain markets and will roll out to more markets as we approach April.”
It is being said that the reasons for the delay is shortage in mobile parts such as camera module and voice call monitor. Rumors suggest that HTC would only be able to ship 800,000 and 1,200,000 units in the upcoming months and if this is true then there is going to be extreme shortage of HTC One which may give upper hand to Samsung Galaxy S4 and Sony Xperia Z.… Read the rest
Releasing on March 15th HTC One is all set to go head on with Samsung Galaxy S4. HTC One retailer has put the ace in the hole by putting the HTC One accessories on sale even before the phone has hit the shelves. HTC One is coming as a successor to HTC One X+ and to catch the early birds, Clove UK has lined the accessories of HTC One in the store.
Well, HTC finally did lift the veil off its grand new smartphone, the HTC One. And from what we’ve seen so far, what can we tell you, the phone looks really promising. But the real question on everyone’s minds is if the phone is good enough to steal the spotlight away from current world leader Samsung and its range of amazing products like the Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note II and of course, the upcoming Galaxy S4?
There’s no doubt that HTC has worked real hard on making this phone a brilliant gadget. Its specs are truly mind-blowing – a 4.7-inch full HD display with 468 ppi resolution, a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 2 GB of RAM, an HDR mic, LTE connectivity, an HTC Ultrapixel camera, a 2300 mAh battery and a variety of storage options to choose from. The Snapdragon 600 processor is especially remarkable in performance, although we don’t know how many Android apps can work well enough with it.
There’s also a brand new marketing initiative being set up by HTC under the new Chief Marketing Officer John Wang. The ad campaign of the HTC One features a bold tagline, calling it to be “Everything your phone isn’t”, but we are still unsure of how aggressively HTC will be able to market the One.
However, the phone does have a beautiful design and looks premium. Even the upgraded Sense 5.0 UI makes Android look even better on the HTC One – but we’re not sure if it will be well received among hardcore Android fans. We have already updated you with the rumor about the price of HTC One. Just to rehash the 32GB version would be priced at $199.99 with a two year contract and 64 GB version would be priced at $299.99. Now we have with us the dates of the launch. It is being heard that HTC one would get catapulted on March 22 and major carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint are already making big plans for it.
HTC One comes with some strong features which would give a tough competition to recently launched BlackBerry Z 10 and Sony Xperia Z.
