Google Unlikely To Release Nexus 10 2 As Nexus 8 is About to Release

Nexus 8 Release Date Update

According to the recent rumors, HTC is responsible for manufacturing the new 8.9 inch tablet.  HTC is scheduled to begin the mass production of the “high-performance” and more “premium” Nexus 8.9 tablet with effect from July or August 2014, according to Android Origin citing IHS technology. Meanwhile, the new tablet is expected to be available at a price tag of at least USD300, Rhoda Alexander, the director of tablet and monitor research at IHS Technology, said.

The new tablet is likely to be available with a 8.9 inch screen display, and would be powered by an Intel-based 64-bit processor instead of the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, which is usually installed in most Android-based smartphones available in the market. Meanwhile, the tablet would also feature a 2K screen resolution.

If released, the Google Nexus 10 2 would boast a 10.1-inch size having a pixel resolution of 2560 x 1600 along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The tablet would run on 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor or the NVIDIA Tegra 4 as well as 3GB RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. The tablet would be available in two variants – the standard 16 GB and 32 GB. There would be an 8MP rear camera and a 2.1MP front camera in the tablet apart from other exciting features, such as a dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, dual-side NFC and a 9500mAh non-removable battery.

Google has still not revealed whether it will collaborate again with Samsung to manufacture the next Nexus 10 tablet.
