Samsung Galaxy S5 is speculated to release within the first quarter of 2014 and the analyst are predicting that this time Samsung will shift its focus to processors and scanners. Samsung Galaxy S5 is rumored to feature a 32-bit processor, a fingerprint scanner and this time the Korean giant may ditch the wireless charging device.
According to IBtimes.com, an Apple insider revealed that S5 would sport a 32-bit processor and not 64-bit processor like Apple iPhone. Analysts are predicting that Samsung will house an Exynos 5430 processor based on Samsung’s 20-nm process.
As far as wireless charging goes reports from Android insider say that Samsung will not go ahead with its plans of magnetic resonance charging as the integration is not materializing for now.
In its wake to beat Apple iPhone 5S and upcoming iPhone 6 Samsung may incorporate biometric fingerprint scanner in S5. Known KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that though there is no novelty in bringing finger scanner on S5, it may help the Samsung flagship beat Apple iPhones.
“Fingerprint is necessary for a star model,” Mr Kuo wrote in his note on AppleInsider
“Because Apple’s iPhone 5S and HTC’s One Max have fingerprint, S5 the star model can’t lack the function even [if] the solution (area type same as iPhone 5S’s provided by Validity) is not as mature as iPhone 5S’s,” the analyst added.

Samsung has finalized the release date for the S5 and will launch the S5 in the Mobile World Congress. Mr. Chang, head of the design strategy team for Samsung had told Korean website inews24 that they will launch the flag ship phone along with other new material.
He had also confirmed that they were currently reviewing many new features such as the flexible display but did not mention whether this feature will be a part of the S5 design. Earlier reports had stated that electronics giants, LG and Samsung, will not be launching flexible displays any time soon as the technology was still under development, but they will be launching a curved display alter in the 2014.
The Mobile World Congress will take place in Barcelona in February; Samsung will also hold their own launch event for the S5 before the exhibit. We can also expect the S5 to have a metal casing and a better screen with a 2560×1440 pixel resolution; but these are as of yet, just speculations. Other speculated features are a 16 MP isocell camera, a RAM of 3 GB, and octa core Exynos processor built in the 64 bit style.
Apple has been biting too much dust owing to the rise of the Korean giant. Finally now, we landed on an image that reveals the eye ID retina scanner on the upcoming Apple iPhone 6. Wonder what this has got to do with Samsung? Well, the first instance of the retina scanner came in the form of a rumored spec on the yet-to-release Samsung Galaxy S5.
A latest render for the Apple iPhone 6 from SET Solution reveals that the retina scanner has replaced the fingerprint scanner spec that we saw in Apple iPhone 5s.
With such a security spec in air, the iPhone 6 is set to be one of the most secure phones the world has ever seen!
While Apple might be busy in patenting the technology, we expect the price for the upcoming iPhone to shoot up too.
Another awesome modification that the 6th baby from Apple has under its hood is a small home button. Thus, the display size will appear magnanimous and come edge-to-edge.
A buffed up speaker spec and two powerful shutters are the other wow stuff that Apple might pack into its latest wonder.
