With iPhone 5S to release in September, there is a general peg about its features, its capabilities and the looks. The latest of all the news about the Apple’s iPhone 5S is to do with the fingerprint scanner. It is supposed to be the latest technology included on the Apple’s next-generation flagship.
Beta tester and an Apple developer forward screenshots of a kit folder of biometric containing text strings which describes the fingerprint sensor’s logistics. It will allow the user to take photos with a thumb, in addition to playing some authentication or security role.
IPhone 5S has been in rumors for months for the idea of including fingerprint scanner or sensor. Apple was bestowed in June as a patent for the fingerprint recognition technology but it was not then planned to implement it.
As for other specifications on iPhone 5S, the recent consensus is related to the screen size which is 4 inch IGZO screen and a resolution of 1136 x 640 and 326 ppi. The upcoming iPhone 5S has a 12 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and 2 GB of RAM. The A6 CPU chip used in the iPhone is the same as being in the current iPhone. Samsung is unveiling its new phablet, the Galaxy Note 3 this September at the IFA, Berlin. However, if rumors are to be believed, this new handset is not complemented with the exclusive fingerprint scanner. Yes, earlier it was claimed by the manufacturers that this new phone will have the features of a fingerprint scanner. However, things didn’t go in their favor as Samsung’s contract partner involved in the making of the sensor is unlikely to be able to produce the required quantity till September this year. Hence Samsung has cancelled its plans to introduce this new feature.
This Samsung loss is Apple’s gain because the fingerprint scanner will now be exclusively launched by Apple with its soon-to-be released iPhone 5S. This new feature will give enough reasons to iPhone 5 users to upgrade their phone to the 5S.
In spite of the disappearance of the fingerprint scanner feature, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is indeed a worthy phone with many other powerful attributes. Features such as the 5.7 inch screen, company’s newly introduced 3 GB RAM, Qualcomm 2.5 Ghz Snapdragon 800 processor and newest 4.3 Jelly Bean Android OS are enough to woo the Samsung customers.
