Apple’s Next Baby In Making- Apple iPad 5 Would Come Against Microsoft Surface Pro And Google Nexus 10

Apple often plants a seed onto gadget ground around spring but this seems to have become passé this season!  However, we are all too keen to get hands on the next iPad—probably the iPad 5-as per the classic naming convention that Apple went by.

Right at the beginning, the release date is a thread that rumors are being strung around. The mills have been sirening that any month could be a probable release date. Gen Munster, Analyst at Apple says that April might be the month that could see the iPad 5. However, this is not very likely, though we trust that a date around October could be bang on.

The iPad 5 display is rumored to come laced with latest technology such as IGZO and a total overhaul of the design is on cards. The display might come to be worked upon by Apple and Sharp in unison. This shall entail better quality, more responsiveness and ‘write-ability’ on screen with even a pencil!

The touch panel is pegged to get better and the thin-film DITO (G/F2) touch screen from iPad 2 could make a comeback in the iPad 5. Thinner, faster and more elegant—the retina display-laced iPad could work wonders.

Apple already gave us a front camera on its iPad 4 and the baby in making might see the rear camera climb up pixels to stand at 8MP. Here is a list we drafted in terms of specs for the iPad 5:

  • Lightning Connector
  • 8MP rear facing camera
  • Apple A7 quad-core processor
  • 9.7-inch Retina Display (2048 x 1536)

  • 1.3MP front facing camera
  • 1-2GB RAM
  • 16GB/32GB/64GB/128GB storage
