A biopic on one of the most legendary innovators has been in the pipeline for a while now. However, here’s some great news for the eager fans. This film is expected to premiere during the closing night of the Sundance Festival of 2013. It is reportedly titled “jOBS”.
The film which has Ashton Kutcher reprising the role of the eccentric Steve Jobs has been directed by Joshua Michael Stern. The story will depict the life and work of Steve Jobs across three eventful decades, including the founding of Apple Computers. Stern’s film is expected to paint Jobs as “a candid, inspiring and personal portrait of the one who saw things differently”.
The Sundance Festival will happen from January 17-27, 2013. Also premiering during the festival are many interesting movies, including “Don Jon’s Addiction” – which debuts Joseph Gordon-Levitt as director, “The Look of Love” – Michael Winterbottom’s movie about the life of adult magazine publisher Paul Raymond, as well as “Lovelace” – a biopic about the famous porn star Linda Lovelace.
However, this isn’t the only biopic about Steve Jobs. According to reports, Aaron Sorkin is also working on a biopic based on Walter Isaacson’s biography about Steve Jobs. This book was commissioned by Steve Jobs himself, to help his children understand him better, and is a personal, candid look into the man he was.
