All the rumors have been confirmed as the leaked images of Sony’s first phablet Xperia ZU showed supporting a standard pen or pencil. A new smartwatch and three Xperia smartphones are lined up to show at the Mobile Asia Expo on June 25. But before that, pictures went viral online confirming the color to be black or white and the use of pen instead of a stylus.
The leaked images also verify its size as 6.44-inch larger than 5.5-inch Galaxy Note 2 and a curved back instead of the flat design of Xperia Z. The source also claims that a magnesium material is used for the black, white and possibly the purple color case.
The Xperia Z Ultra is expected to be scratch, water dust resistant smartphone following the legacy of Xperia Z and tablet Z. it will sport a 6.44-inch 342ppi (pixels per inch) 1920 x 1080 Full HD display using Sony’s Triluminous and X-Reality Engine technologies. The smartphone is projected to be powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 330 graphics, 2GB of RAM with 16GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front facing camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, a microSD expansion slot with support for up to 64GB cards, and a 3,000 mAh battery.
