Sony has finally disclosed the price and release date of its latest flagship phone, Xperia Z2, which was announced just a few days ago. The smartphone is scheduled to be released on 1 April in the UK and will have a price tag of £544.98 SIM free from Unlocked Mobiles.
The smartphone will come with some free goodies from Unlocked Mobiles, such as a SRS-BTM8 speaker valued at £79.99, noise-cancelling headphones priced at £20 and “content” worth £100.
Meanwhile, the flagship phone of Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy S5, has been priced at £599.98 and will be available for the public on April 11 2014.
Some of the features of the Sony Xperia Z2 are waterproof body, 20.7-megapixel camera, slightly bigger screen of 5.2 inches, Android KitKat, 2.3GHz chip and 4K video recording.
Sony Xperia Z2 will compete with other big devices soon to be launched in the market – Samsung’s Galaxy S5 and HTC’s next flagship, the New HTC One.
However, not much information is available about HTC’s upcoming flagship phone, and t is scheduled to carry out an event on March 25 where it will disclose the full details, so we will be able to gather more information about the event then.
