Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0: Samsung’s perfect answer to its rival Apple iPad Mini, this 8-inch tablet features a quad-core A9 processor, a resolution of 1280X800 pixels, as well as Samsung’s popular S-Pen functionality.

     Sony Xperia Z Tablet: Known as the world’s thinnest tablet, this gorgeous 10-inch tablet weighs just about 1 pound, is dust and water resistant, has a quad-core 1.5 GHz processor, an 8.1 MP camera and a 6,000 mAh battery.

Asus PadFone Infinity: This 5-inch phablet from Asus makes it into our list because of its unique docking feature that lets you convert this device into a full-fledged 10-inch tablet too.

Lenovo S6000: Yet another contender in the 10-inch tablet space, the Lenovo S6000 has a 1280X800 pixel resolution, is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.


HP Slate 7: This was quite a change in taste from HP’s standard Windows offerings. HP has ventured into the Android tablet arena with the Slate 7, powered by a dual-core ARM A9 processor, and priced at just $169, looks like this one’s going up against the Google Nexus 7.
