Sony Xperia Z took another torture test in its stride. This time it was the UK retailer, Clover which tested the phone by dropping it on the floor from waist height (approx 1.5 mtrs). As expected the phone passed with flying colors and came out scratch free.

As far as the tech specs are concerned , the Sony Xperia Z is powered by 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 quad-core and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (Upgradable to 4.2 after launch). The USP of this Sony flagship phone is its water and dust resistance. The phone is slated to release in first quarter of this year.
