Here’s reason to cheer for the European fans of the Sony Xperia Z. The gorgeous dust and water resistant Sony flagship smartphone is launching across the continent on the 21st of February. The Xperia Z won many hearts when it was unveiled during the CES 2013, and the world has been waiting to get their hands on this beauty ever since.

The news was broken on Sony’s Facebook page which said it will launch at Sony’s Berlin store on this date. Even though there is no official confirmation yet, Sony has also sent out invites for an Xperia Z event on the same date in another European country.

Sweden’s 3 is among the first carriers in the continent to start taking pre-orders for the Xperia Z. The LTE enabled Xperia Z running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is up for pre-order and comes with a price tag of SEK 5,495 (around $870). Customers can also get the phone free with a two year consumer or business plan with this carrier.
