Codenamed ‘Togari’, the 6.44-inch full HD display tablet by Sony Xperia is expected to be launched this year, apparently with an innovative feature that will make it recognise screen inputs from any pen or pencil.
Expected to be announced either at IFA Berlin 2013 or CES 2014, the device will be rolled out with a bigger and better display.
Apparently, the Sony Xperia L4 Togari will be designed on the same lines as Sony’s 2013 flagship smartphone, the Xperia Z. Whether the device will be waterproof or not is still unknown.
The Xperia L4 will come packed in a powerful Snapdragon 600 or 800 processor, same as Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3.
Boasting RAM of 2GB, the phablet will sport a 13-megapixel primary camera with Exmor RS sensor.
Earlier speculations claimed the tab to hold a 6.44-inch 1920 x1080 IPS screen for the Sony phablet. The Togari was also rumoured to have 3GB of RAM and a MSM8974 krait 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz. The NFC-enabled phablet is also believed to pack in 32GB of on-board memory, a 13-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel secondary camera, a 3500mAh battery and a stylus.
