As per a new word going around the gossip mill, Sony is prepping up to unveil the Xperia ZU smartphone along with the Xperia C that’s a dual-SIM smartphone at the Mobile Asia Expo, scheduled for June 25th in Shanghai.
The Xperia ZU is speculated to roll out with quad-core MediaTek chipset, perhaps the MT6589 SoC. The announcement of 6.4-inch ZU phablet is rumored to be followed with the launch of the Xperia C or CN3.
Expected to hold a 5-inch qHD display, the Xperia C will sport a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. Along with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of on-board storage, the device might house a 1.2GHz quad-core chipset. Sony is also expected to provide additional memory support with microSD card slot.
Sitting at 8.88mm depth, the Xperia C might cling to an 8-megapixel Exmor R camera at the back. Anticipated to hit the markets in China first, the smartphone will come with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.
