The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 II is a premium compact camera aimed at the keen enthusiast photographer. The RX100 II offers  integrated 3.6x, 28-100mm Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* zoom lens with a fast aperture of f/1.8, while the Nikon D5200  is a  24.1megapixel DSLR camera that can record Full 1080p HD movies at 1920×1280 pixels / 25fps or 50i/60i with stereo sound.

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 II uses a new 20.2 megapixel 1.0-type Exmor back-illuminated CMOS image sensor and Full HD 24p/25p high-definition video recording. The RX100 MK2 also boasts built-in wi-fi and NFC connectivity, a high resolution tiltable 3 inch LCD screen, Multi Interface Shoe, Multi Terminal accessory connections, continuous shooting at up to 10fps at full resolution, high-speed autofocus that locks onto your target in 0.13 seconds, built-in pop-up flash, support for the Raw format and full manual controls.

The Nikon D5200 uses a high-resolution 3-inch vari-angle LCD monitor making it easier to compose shots from difficult angles, while the extensive ISO range of 100-25600 copes with all lighting conditions. A 5fps burst shooting mode, EXPEED 3 image processor, 39-point autofocus system with 3D Focus Tracking, 2,016-pixel RGB metering sensor, High Dynamic Range mode, Active D-Lighting, seven different special effects for stills and movies and a new generation GUI design complete the Nikon D5200’s headline specs.

The black bodied Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 II is available at its lowest price of $709 (INR 44866), While the Nikon D5200, available in three colours, black, red and bronze, costs $899 (INR 56888) body only, or $899.95 (INR 56948) with the 18-55mm VR kit lens.
