Smaller Cousin of Vivo V7 Plus, Vivo V7 Set To Launch in India Today

Just as buzz about the Vivo V7 Plus picks up in India, the company is geared up to launch the Vivo V7 in Gurugram today. Already launched in Indonesia in the early part of November, the Vivo V7 is expected to be a smaller cousin of the Vivo V7 Plus. It is expected to feature a full-view display and work as a dual-SIM smartphone. Flipkart has also been busy promoting the Vivo V7 online, which has led us to believe that the Vivo V7 could be available exclusively for online sale.

Vivo V7 features

Designed with a 5.70-inch touchscreen display, the Vivo V7 is expected to run on a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It has an IPS display and offers an aspect ratio of 18:9. The screen enjoys a resolution of 720 pixels by 1440 pixels. Vivo V7 features also include a 4GM Ram along with 32GB of internal storage. The memory is extensible up to 256GB with a microSD card. Powered by the Funtouch 3.2 operating system, the phone is based on the Android 7.1. Additionally, Vivo V7 comprises a 3000mAh non-removable battery.
There are two cameras on the phones—a 16MP rear camera along with a 24MP front shooter. The rear camera has a flash and an aperture of, while the selfie camera features the ‘Moonlight Glow’ lighting along with an aperture of f/2.0.
Vivo V7 is a dual SIM camera with GSM capabilities. It accepts the Nano-SIM and offers all regular connectivity options. Clocking up to 1.8GHz, the Vivo V7 also includes an accelerometer and an ambient light sensor. Digital compass, proximity sensors and a virtual gyroscope are some of the other features in this new phone.

Launched in Indonesia already, the Vivo 7 there is priced at IDR 3,799,000. This is about Rs. 18,300 in Indian rupees.
