Slow Kickstart To Android 4.4 KitKat Update On Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy Note III

Android 4.4 KitKat update will be launched for some top end members of the Galaxy series line up devices from SamsungAn Android 4.4 KitKat update to higher models of the Samsung Galaxy line up of smartphones and tablets will be rolled out in the United States soon.

Officials at Samsung have said that the latest 4.4.2 KitKat update will start rolling out soon and will continue for some months from now. Among those who are likely to receive the KitKat update will be Galaxy Note II, III, Galaxy S III S IV though Samsung had added that the availability of the update may vary depending on carrier.

This implies that it is still some time until every device will actually get the KitKat 4.4.2 update but on the surface, most of these will receive it soon. The entire list of devices likely to receive the KitKat update also consists of Zoom, Galaxy Mini, Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy Mega, Galaxy  S III Mini, Galaxy Tab 3, Galaxy Light, Galaxy Note 8 and both the new as well as previous editions of the Galaxy Note 10.1. According to reports, devices from some carriers have already started receiving the 4.4.2 update even though the Korean handset maker has not yet announced a fixed timeline for any specific tablet or phone.
