The Samsung Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 were released in India on Thursday. Both models have been a hit in China but one wonders if they will work equally well in India. These phones are reportedly targeted at gamers because they offer 4G LTE connectivity that will enable a better experience.
Where the Samsung Galaxy J5 costs Rs. 11,999, the Galaxy J7 costs Rs. 14,999. However, these phones are currently available exclusively on Flipkart.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 comes with a 5-inch Super Amoled HD display beefed with a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC. Add to this 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of in built storage, and you know how powerful the phone is. As for the snapper, the 13MP main comes with autofocus camera while the selfie cam comes with 5MP capacity. Sealing all these up is a 2,600mAh battery. Now coming to the Samsung Galaxy J7, the model sports a 5.5-incher screen with 16GB on board storage powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Exynos 7580 SoC. Sealing these up is a meaty 3,000mAh battery.
We especially loved the 13-megapixel main on the Galaxy J5 that comes with f/1.9 aperture and smooth interface. Throw open the app by simply double tapping on the home button. More so the various modes such as Panorama, Beauty Face, Auto, Pro, Continuous Shot, Sound & Shot, and Sports add to the features of the J5 camera. The J7 camera sports additional specs such as HDR mode and wild selfie mode too.
