Samsung’s latest and innovative Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Galaxy Camera is expected to hit the market in India this year in November. No official announcement regarding its pricing or availability in India has been made by Samsung.
However, the Korean manufacturer recently uncovered the pricing of its latest device in Germany, and made further announcement that the Galaxy Camera will enter the German market by the end of this month.
Latest in line, the Galaxy Camera will cost €599 or $776.7, which is approximately Rs. 40,900.
Considered expensive as compared to other standard digital cameras, this entry-level DSLR camera is expected to be a breakthrough in the market of digital SLRs.
The Galaxy Camera runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Powered by a quad-core processor, it’s clocked at 1.4GHz. With this, users also get a 16 megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, 8GB of built-in storage, and a 1650 mAh battery. Shooting images or videos will be easier with this camera that boasts of a 4.77-inch HD Super Clear LCD display. Galaxy Camera will also support HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity. Sleek, smart, and compact, this camera surely stands out amongst others in the market of digital cameras.
