Samsung S6 Edge+ Launched in India; 64GB Variant on Hold

One of the most hyped smartphones of the year, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ is now available in the Indian market. It was launched at an event in Delhi on Wednesday and is priced at around Rs. 57, 900.

While the launch of the smartphone delighted Samsung fans who have been awaiting the device, the company has only launched the 32GB variant in India for now. The 64GB Edge+ is still on hold.

While the company has started accepting orders starting Wednesday, the phone will not be available for sale before August 28.

The Samsung S6 Edge+ works on the Android 5.1 Lollipop-based platform and comes with a 5.7-inch QHD Super-Amoled display. Supported with 1440×2560 pixel resolution, the phone boasts of excellent graphics.

Keeping at par with other premium smartphones, it is supported with a 16MP camera at the back and 5MP camera for selfies. A 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 processor has been paired with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, which ensures smooth performance of the phone.

The phone is available in Silver Titanium, Gold Platinum, Black Sapphire and White Pearl colors.
