Samsung sent invites for an event on the 1st day of the MWC 2014, heavily emphasizing on the launch of the GS5. The invitation from Samsung allegedly stated the attendees to check out the new flagship release from Samsung on the gathering of the February 24th.  The digit 5 scribbled on the invitation card as displayed on the Twitter teaser image confirms it all that the successor of S4 is all set to showcase its face.

Samsung has been known for displaying its flagship releases at unloaded events and this seems no different. However, nothing is still confirmed as of now till the time, company sings for S5 name.

Mystery phone

The release date of S5 has always been the talk of the town, especially since Samsung has entered in the elaboration of things, one-off releases of its signature range.

However, an executive from the company shared it last month that the company is planning to release a new product at the MWC. Other rumours in the air reveal that Samsung Galaxy S5 will arrive sometime in March along with the other releases. However, one can’t ignore the 5’s mentioned in the invite. Along with S5, you may also see Tizen’s phone also on the list.

Amongst the much speculated specification of the Samsung S5, few include all metal frame, 16Mp camera, ultra sharp, pixeled screen, 64-bit processor, along with a retina scanner.

The anticipation of the release of GS5 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on the 24th of February has made the tech giant Samsung sent invites for event christened as Unpacked 5. The event will be streamed live on the Samsung’s YouTube account. The event will be the first event to be scheduled on the 24th.
