Though the sales were not so high, the features of the phone definitely please Android fans. Now that already the rumors of Samsung Galaxy S5 are going all over the web, here’s a look at Samsung Galaxy S5 Vs. Samsung Galaxy S4, which one is more competitive for iPhone 5:

  • Design:

Galaxy S4: Galaxy S4 weighs 130g and has a thickness of 7.9mm. It is a thinner and slimmer version of Galaxy S3. The body is made up of plastic, the design is a derivate of its previous version. It has flat sides and a different layout for the camera. The back cover is removable and has an external microSD card slot.

Galaxy S5: Till now, all specs about this phone are just based on some reports. There are rumors stating that Galaxy S5 will be made of metal, or faux leather plastic (similar to that in Galaxy Note 3)

iPhone 5 has 7.6mm thickness, weighing 112g, lighter than Samsung Galaxy S4. The read of the iPhone 5 is made of anodized 6000 series Aluminium, and inlays on the top and bottom made of ceramic or pigmented glass. Design-wise we reckon, iPhone 5 wins over Galaxy S4. It remains to be seen what S5 has to offer.

Galaxy S4: The screen size is 5-inch, with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution and 441 PPI density. The Super AMOLED screen is back, and almost any video/image/text is viewable in any condition.

Galaxy S5: The display normally changes every year with every Samsung flagship device release. Rumours around suggest that the S5 screen will have 1440 x 2560p resolution and a density of 560ppi. Youm technology will come to S5 as per some reports.

iPhone 5 has a 4-inch screen with 1136 x 640p resolution at 326ppi. S4 wins in display aspect, with a larger screen and better viewing in low-light conditions.

  • Specs:

Galaxy S4: It is powered by Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, 1.9GHz processor speed, and 2GB of RAM for a fantastic performance. There is a 13MP camera that performs excellently even in a low-light environment.

Galaxy S5: S5 is expected to host either a Qualcomm or an Exynos processor. 16MP camera with ISOCELL technology may come to S5.

iPhone 5 Apple A6 dual-core, 1GB of RAM, 1.2GHz processor. 1.2GHz, S4 is the clear winner here.
