Barely a week to go until Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S4 smartphone hits the U.S. markets and everyone’s readying themselves to check out the reviews. But just a couple of days after we told you about how Samsung tried playing dirty by paying for negative reviews of the HTC One, the real question is, does the Galaxy S4 have reason to be worried?
There’s no doubt that the Galaxy S4 is a terrific gadget – it’s got amazingly powerful processors, a gorgeous screen, great features and a nice camera too. But the HTC One’s got quite a bit of that going for it, and great looks too! Granted it may be slightly less powerful and slightly smaller, but that’s too small a difference.
According to David Pierce at The Verge, while the Galaxy S4 remains fast and impressive, the HTC One scores more because it’s refined, quiet and comfortable. Even Gizmodo has rated the HTC One higher than the Galaxy S4 on overall experience. But CNET maintains that the former’s a better device.
This one’s going to be quite an interesting fight, but we guess we ought to leave it to the users for the final verdict.
