Windows 8 phones did create a stir in the fourth quarter of 2012. Nokia Lumia 920 and HTC 8X became hot sellers and now after the advent of Android marvels such as Samsung Galaxy S4 , HTC One and Sony Xperia Z both the phones are coming for free on a two-year contract. Microsoft Store is giving out Lumia 920 and HTC 8X on $0 whereas AT&T is charging $99.99 for the Lumia 920 and $49.99 for HTC 8X.
Nokia Lumia 920 comes with a 4.5 inch screen with a pixel density of 1280 x 768. It runs on 1.5 GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 Processor and has a 2000mAh battery. Nokia’s flagship has a 8.7 megapixel camera coupled with Pure View technology, dual LED flash and Carl Zeiss Tessar lens. Originally the phone comes with 32 GB memory which could be expanded with a micro SD card. Unlike most of the smartphones Nokia Lumia 920 sports wireless charging.
On the other hand HTC 8X comes powered with 1.5 GHz dual –core Snapdragon S4 processor. It comes with 16 GB version with a option of micros SD card. With a 8 megapixel camera and 1800 mAh battery the phone is quite a delight to use.
