According to reports by Phone Review, Samsung Galaxy S3 is not going to receive the Android 4.3 Jellybean update. Also it has been reported that Samsung is not considering Galaxy Note 2 for any kind of upgrade.
Android 4.3 Jellybean update was rolled out by Samsung earlier this week. However, Galaxy S3 users encountered problems in updating their phones to the new OS which led the company to pull out the update.
The update has brought a whole lot of enhancements like Galaxy Gear smartwatch, Samsung KNOX for added security, features from Samsung Galaxy S4 to Samsung Galaxy S3. There are a lot of users who are definitely enjoying these features but some have complained about multitude of issues which has rose from the new software.
According to Phonereview.com, “The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 first hit the U.K. yesterday and it was available for the unlocked version of the device via an Over the Air update. The OS upgrade was rolled out in various regions but users are hit with issues that the update has been pulled out and the upgrade for Note 2 was delayed.”
The most pressing issue of the Jellybean update is the draining of battery life. On many forums users have complained about the massive battery drain out caused by Android 4.3 Jelly bean update.
