Samsung is reportedly planning to introduce dual-edge display to its upcoming smartphones and tablet lineup. The extraordinary feature was first introduced in Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. A recent report, indicating the release date and specs of Galaxy Note 5 states that it will have display almost similar to that of Galaxy S6 Edge and the curved edge will be an essential part of it. Rumors also suggest that the mobile will sport a 4k display, which is so far not available in any such devices.
Updates are also expected to be on the RAM provisions. Even though there is no official confirmation, sources suggest that the device will be supported with Exynos chip CPU for better functioning. Yet, some other sources indicate the device to use Snapdragon of Qualcomm, which is expected to be released anytime soon.
The device, which is expected to be out in the market by October 2015 may also feature the latest version of Android that Google is planning to unleash anytime in the second half of the year. It is speculated that Galaxy Note 5 release may be used to introduce the replacement of Android 5.x Lollipop. Though there is already much hype regarding the specs and features of the phones, the makers are tight-lipped about the details.
