Samsung Galaxy Note 3 May Have A Competition In Its Own Sibling Samsung Galaxy Mega, A Samsung Newbie

While the whole world was busy speculating about Samsung coming out with the Galaxy Note 3 as the successor to last year’s popular phablet, we just got to know that there’s a new phablet by Samsung called Galaxy Mega coming up. While one version of this phablet is fitted with a 5.8-inch display, the other has a 6.3-inch display.

The Galaxy Mega will live up to its name with a huge 6.3-inch PLS HD screen. Running on either Android 4.1.2 or Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Samsung’s Nature UX overlay, it is expected to be powered by a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor and 1.5 GB of RAM. It will also have an 8 MP rear camera as well as a 2 MP front-facing camera.

From the specs, we’re guessing that Samsung will release this in the affordable price range of devices. The Galaxy Mega 6.3 will be as thick as the Galaxy S4 and will have a 3,200 mAh battery. We know you must be as eager as us to get your hands on the device, but we think it could come out by sometime in May.
