Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 In The Ring With Samsung Galaxy Note 2- The Winner Emerges Shaken Not Stirred

The Sony Xperia Z almost managed to end my from my Samsung Galaxy fixation  but before it got too late, the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 jolted me back into senses. Just when I thought that I must switch camps, Samsung stirred such a cocktail that shook me up. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was not up to my expectations– here is a faceoff between the two titans that Samsung has already crowned as darlings.

Opening magic – A quick look at the Galaxy Mega 6.3 and I knew that a winner was in my hands. The 6.3-inch screen size is one good reason that catapults the Mega to a rank higher than the Galaxy Note 2. At 5.5 inches, the Note 2 fails to look into Mega’s eyes. The PLS HD display in the Mega 6.3 further hogs the limelight beating Galaxy Note’s HD Super AMOLED display in Round I of the face off.

Still waters run dip—admittedly, the Samsung Mega 6.3 failed to catch my eye over the Galaxy Note 2 initially. However, now that I know that the Mega spits fire with a 1.7GHz dual-core processor I weighed the Note 2 in Round II of the face off. Sadly, the Note 2 spits fireballs with its 1.6 GHz Exynos Quad-core processor.

Box space decides the boxing champ – The fair face off ends with Round III—the storage space on both Galaxy babies combat with each other for final glory. Despite all my silent prayers to crown the Galaxy Mega as winner, it falters at the final round with its 1.5 GB RAM. Come what may, the Mega 6.3 would have 8 GB or 16 GB internal box space. The Galaxy Note 2 wins hands down with its 16 GB and 32 GB box options.
