Samsung has made the declaration about sharing the 4.4 Kitkat with Note 3 and S4 in the coming year. Several high and low end smartphones have been chosen to ipt for the Samsung upgrade plans. Here is a list provided by the insiders.
First Batch of Recipients
The very first to receive the Android Kitkat are Note 3 and Samsung S4 and the benefit will be in the form of improvement and system enhancements.
Off lately, Sam Mobile got a document detailed of Samsung gadgets which will feature Samsung Knox security assistance. S4 will receive the security assist through Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, while Note 3 features the app as native. Both the gadgets will release in January 2014 and the upgrade will also include Note 2 and Galaxy S3.
Second Batch of Recipients
After Note 3 and S4 received got its update, Note 2 and galaxy S3 are the next. The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean will be used for Note 2 and S3 from different carriers across the world.
iTechAddict also revealed an upcoming strategy of Samsung to also use Android 4.4 Kitkat to Note 2 and S3 til the month of March and April 2014. It may be possible that other flagship series will also get an update, though a little late than the international variants.
Third Batch for Updates
For those who look up to less complicated and low budget smartphones from Galaxy, an update from Android Kitkat can occur in 2014. As per Sam Mobile, a number of mid range and lower budget smartphone are included in the list.
The list comprises of Galaxy Ace 2 and 3, Galaxy Core, Galaxy Fame, Galaxy Fresh, Galaxy S Advance, Galaxy S3 Mini and Galaxy S4 Mini.
Excluded Devices
Unfortunately, the devices excluded Galaxy S2, galaxy Note 1, Galaxy S, Galaxy Mini and Galaxy S2 Mini.
