According to the latest rumors on SamMobile, Samsung will soon bring out two new phablets called the Galaxy Mega 5.8 and the Galaxy Mega 6.3. The company looks all set to ride the wave of success it has experienced, thanks to its popular Galaxy Note 2 launched last year.
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 will feature a 5.8-inch Qhd TFT screen and will be powered by a dual-core 1.4 GHz processor and 1.5 GB of RAM. Running on either Android 4.1.2 or Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the device will have an 8 MP camera in the rear and a 2 MP one in the front. It will also come with a 2,600 mAh battery.
Although SamMobile feels that the device will be placed in the high end range, its specs seem inadequate for that category. But we’re hoping it’s a low-cost phablet which would be affordable for the masses.
