JBL announced the launch of its Charge 2 at the ongoing IFA 2014 in Berlin, Germany. The device is now equipped with meatier audio and several other additional features when compared to its predecessor. The device has been given a cylindrical design and features two passive bass radiators and dual drives.
The JBL Charge 2 also has the capability to act as a speaker phone for calling when connected via Bluetooth. It also has a call answer key as well as power, Bluetooth and volume controls at the top.
It features a social mode option, enabling up to three people to simultaneously connect their device with the speaker. This will enable them to share the music playing responsibilities.
Additionally, you can connect your phone to the Charge 2 via USB cable for charging purposes. This is in addition to the speaker’s 6000mAh battery. The device is available in the color options of white, black, blue, purple and red. It carries a price tag of £199.99.
