Nintendo is on roll since the release of its new game Pokemon X and Y. According to company’s spokesperson the game has sold more than 1 million units since its launch. The games sales has also soared the popularity of Nintendo 3DS. To celebrate the success of the game the company has released infograph on its website which shows rise in the popularity of the Nintendo game.
A spokesperson from Nintendo told Slashgear.com, “Pokemon X and Pokemon Y reached the 1 million units sold mark faster than any other 3DS game in history. The game also spurred sales of the 3DS console as well with Nintendo reporting a 135% increase in sales four weeks after the launch of the game.”
According to the statistics reveled by Nintendo one out of every Nintendo 3DS user have purchased Pokemon X and Pokemon y. Also the game has become phenomenon on social networks.
“There were more than 2 million tweets in the past 30 days about Pokemon. The game was also the fastest selling title in Nintendo eShop history”, Nintendo further revealed.
