OPPO launched its brand new Ace 2 smartphone today in an online only event in China. It will come with several trending features including 90Hz AMOLED display as well as 40W wireless charging. OPPO had launched its first Reno Ace line up in October 2019. However, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has dropped ‘Reno’ from the title for the second generation of Ace series.

OPPO Ace2 will offer a 6.55” AMOLED display as well as an in-display optical fingerprint scanner. Additionally, it’s 90 Hz refresh rate and a 180 Hz touch response rate makes it even more appealing to the gamers.
The Ace 2 phones will be powered by Snapdragon 865 processor. Moreover, OPPO has also launched an AirVOOC fast wireless charger which is valued at around $35 with the Ace 2 smartphone. Furthermore, it will offer 65W fast wired charging, besides 40W fast wireless charging. Notably, it will also support reverse wireless charging at 10W for other devices.
Launched in three colour variants of purple, silver, and black; it will offer support for 5G connectivity as well as Wi-Fi 6. It will further offer a storage variants of 8GB and 12 GB RAM, and internal memory of 128 and 256 GB.
However, OPPO Ace2 will feature a similar rear camera setup as the OPPO Reno Ace smartphone which was launched last year. Its quad rear camera setup includes a 48-megapixel primary camera, 8-megapixel ultra wide camera and two 2-megapixel portrait sensors. It further features a 16-megapixel selfie camera in the front.
OPPO Ace 2 is priced at $565, $625, and $650 for its storage variants of 8GB and 128GB; 8GB and 256GB; and 12GB and 256GB respectively.
