One Plus 2, the successor to the OnePlus One has been launched in India. Priced at Rs 22,299, the flagship smartphone boasts of killer specifications. Lets take a detailed look at this new player in the smartphone market.
One Plus 2 will be available in two variants, 16 GB and 64 GB. The latter will come at a price of Rs 24, 999.
It boasts of 5.5-inch HD display coupled with a contrast ratio of 1500:1. This not only brightens up the screen but also adds vibrancy to the photos. The phone has 4GB RAM to accommodate the data and is powered up by 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 processor. It runs on Android/Oxygen and sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera, similar to OnePlus One.
However, according to the reports the One Plus 2 camera has a sensor pixel size of 1.3 microns, which further enriches the picture quality.
One Plus 2 has longer battery life than its predecessor. It houses 3,300 mAh battery whereas One Plus has 33,100 battery.
Weight and Thickness
It weighs 175 gm, which is more than OnePlus One. The thickness is around 9.85 mm. It is clearly bulky than its predecessor.
Other interesting features of One Plus 2 include USB-Type C reversible port for charging and for plugging in external devices. This is a breakthrough feature and something, which every company is planning to bring to its flagship modes. It also features fingerprint sensor and you have the choice to store five types of fingerprints.
