Looks like Nokia’s taken it upon itself to make Windows Phone experience as comfortable as those on Android or iOS. After all, a lot is riding on its success for Nokia too. Windows Phone users who have been missing out on Instagram have reason to cheer – Nokia has recently developed an app, “#2InstaWithLove”, as a request to Instagram developers to bring this popular image sharing app to Windows Phone too.
Essentially, the app features filters similar to the Instagram app that users can apply on images they click and then upload these pictures onto their social networks. The only additional thing the app does is add its name as a hashtag to the post to catch Instagram developers’ attention.
Nokia is hoping to generate enough buzz through the app to get Instagram to notice and fill this missing gap by offering its mobile app to Windows Phone users as well. It’s a novel effort, but will it achieve the desired results? Instagram, are you listening?
