Nokia Is Breaking Into Market With A Windows 8 Tablet, Would It Spell Trouble From Apple iPad 5 And Samsung Galaxy Tab 3

If you’re wondering what’s keeping Nokia busy now that it has already unveiled two new Windows Phone 8 based smartphones this year, you’ll probably be surprised to know that we could possibly see a Windows 8 tablet coming out from the company soon. We got to know about this thanks to an app developer who got a proposal for creating an Adidas micoach app for a Nokia tablet.

We’ve been hearing rumors about Nokia entering the tablet space for a while now, and yes, it should be interesting to see how the market responds to such a device. In terms of design, we expect it to resemble the Microsoft Surface tablets with a 10.1-inch screen.

There are also reports that the tablet could have an HDMI port and USB ports as well and that it could be powered by an ARM processor and run on Windows RT. We could see AT&T possibly being among the first few carriers to offer this Nokia tablet in the U.S markets.
