Google plans to follow up the launch of Samsung Galaxy S5 with its own Nexus 6 release date. Recent data leaked has revealed the new Nexus and its features. Google plans on launching their new smartphone as means of competing against well established giants like Apple and Samsung.
Rumors of the Nexus 6 launch began circulating after Samsung’s event at the 2014 MWC. Apple plans on launching two phones, a phablet and a smartphone. So we can expect to see the new Google Nexus 6 sometime in the third quarter of the year.
If Google plans on hitting stores by this time, we can expect them to announce the Nexus 6 by June. This date is significantly dependent on what Google plans on starting at their yearly IO Developers Conference.
Google VP Sundar Pichai had hinted at the Nexus 6 but he had also assured customers not to expect it in the early part of 2014. The reported features of the Nexus 6 are supposedly similar to the LG G3- so expect to see a quad core processor and a 1440 pixel display. Other reports had hinted a possible screen size of 5.5 inches and also a 64 bit processor.
