With the debut of Aof the company’s Nexus 4 flagship device. Originally announced in September, Google however did not provide any details of the features that were expected in the operating system. Here is a list of features that can be expected ahead of Android 4.4 arrival:
- It is a great news for Google that this far there haven’t been many complaints regarding the Android updates. Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 owners have remained silent about Android 4.4, and this is great news for Nexus 4 users. It is expected that Nexus 4 Android 4.4 update will be free from technical glitches and bug load will be lesser. A few bugs have been reported but nothing so crazy from Android users.
- There will be upgrades in the future, although the date of arrival is not announced yet. The tech giant rolled out Android 4.4 updates, in WiFi Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 versions. The updates will come out in Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 (cellular) handsets.
- Google has never announced particular release dates for its flagship devices. The update will come out soon, no release date as such, we cannot expect Google to take to Twitter or other social networking sites and announce the debut.
It is surprising that Nexus 4 Android 4.4 KitKat OS roll out has not begun right away. It will be more bewildering if the OTA rollout does not happen by the end of this week. Maybe Google needed that extra time to complete Nexus 10 and Nexus 7 roll outs.
