Looks like the world was just waiting for Google to unveil their latest range of Nexus devices. For as soon as the Nexus 4, 7 and 10 went on sale in the U.K., they were lapped up by thousands of eager customers. The flagship smartphone, Nexus 4, was sold out in less than an hour – the 8 GB model’s stock finished within just 15 minutes after the sale began.
Desperate consumers who logged onto Google Play store to order these devices faced quite a few hassles with the site due to the tremendous demand. Many customers complained on Twitter about how the site had become slow, unresponsive, and in some cases, even throwing up errors since it couldn’t cope with that much traffic.
If you are among those dying to get your hands on the new Nexus devices, the bad news is that the 8 GB and 16 GB models of the Nexus 4 are out of stock. The same goes for the 32 GB model of the Nexus 10; fortunately there’s still some 16 GB models available, as are all the models of the Nexus 7. According to Google’s website, your orders would ship in 3-5 business days, so in about a week’s time, you should be able to unbox your prized gadget!
