The Aqua Trend from the house of Intex has been launched at Rs. 9,444. This is the second 4G enabled smartphone offered by this company that would be available in both multibrands and online stores. Aqua 4G+ on the other hand is the first 4G enabled phone from Intex which was launched in June at Rs. 9,499.
Though this smartphone supports 4G LTE in this country but it is yet to provide details about network support. The Aqua Trend runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display. This dual SIM device is powered by quad-core MediaTek (MT6735) with 1.3GHz clock speed. The Aqua Trend comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable upto 32 GB via microSD card. It features a 5 MP front and 13 MP rear camera with LED flash.
The Aqua Trend has other connectivity options as well apart from 4G LTE, which include GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, Micro-USB, Wi-Fi and 3G. The device weighing around 152 grams has 3000mAh battery. This smartphone has HotKnot file transfer technology as well. Available in gray, champagne, black and silver colors, the phone comes with one year warranty on screen and a complementary flip cover.
Intex has launched the Cloud Q5 smartphone on Monday, which is exclusively available for Rs. 4,490 on eBay India. Intex has also launched Aqua Star II alongside Cloud at Rs. 7,444 with better front camera, twice the RAM and inbuilt storage that its predecessor.
