Just a couple of days to go for Samsung to unveil its latest flagship Galaxy S4 to the world and looks like Apple’s getting a tad worried. We’ve heard that the company is busy working on the iPhone 5S and has even brought forward its launch date. Looks like in the meantime, it wants to remind you that the iPhone 5 still exists and can do a lot. Apple released a couple of new, rather funky iPhone ads titled “Brilliant” and “Discover” showing off some of the cool things the iPhone can do.
The ads have a really catchy background tune and show the screen being clicked, tapped, and swiped to showcase various games, apps and videos on the iPhone. The “Brilliant” ad shows the iPhone being used to pay for coffee using the Passbook app, the advanced math calculator app MyScript and the new Hue Lighting app with which the phone dims a lamp too.
The “Discover” app showcases the Apple Maps app and an app that lets users tune guitars using the iPhone, in addition to finding new places around town for entertainment.
