The Razr series was one of Moto’s most popular phones ever made, and we’re so glad they’re bringing the Razr back. The Droid Razr M is the latest entrant into the ever-expanding market of Android phones, but with the Moto Razr tag, would this phone be able to make a market in the nearly saturated market? Featuring an all aluminum casing with a Kevlar backplate, the look and feel of this phone sums up all things sturdy for sure. An edge to edge AMOLED display without bezels makes for an efficient use of space on the phone, giving users maximum screen space without really increasing the dimension of the phone unnecessarily. If you keep an iPhone 4S next to the Razr M, you will see that the latter has a much bigger screen.
The Razr M is equipped with a powerful 8MP camera that can also capture video at 1080p. The camera clicks quite sharp images without too many hassles, and is as good a camera as one can expect on a phone. Powered by an amazing 2000mAh battery, the Razr M can easily run for a day on light use, and up to 15 hours during heavy usage – which is quite a lot to expect from a touchscreen phone.
On the inside, the Razr M has a dual-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm processor for powerful processing speed, 1GB of RAM, and storage space of up to 8GB which can be expanded using a microSD card. In terms of connectivity, the phone is equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, aGPS, GPS and even has 4G connectivity giving you absolutely fast browsing speed.
The Droid Razr M runs on Android 4.0 and does not feature the oh-so-many home pages that a typical Android phone lets you have. So no more confusion about which screen has your app’s shortcut – it’s clean and simple on the Razr M’s interface. The standard browser within the phone is not surprisingly Google Chrome, which does have its benefits of speedy browsing. And the best part, Motorola has announced that users can expect a Jelly Bean update in the future as well.
