A benchmark test for a phone called Google X has been making the rounds of the internet of late, and we wonder if it’s what Google has codenamed the Motorola X. The AnTuTu benchmark results show the device running on Android 5.0.1 or what we call the Key Lime Pie. But from the specs, looks like this device is more of a mid-range smartphone and not a high-end device like we’ve been expecting.
According to the test results, the Google X is powered by a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor and managed over 15,000 in the AnTuTu benchmark. The OS has been listed as Android 5.0.1, making us wonder if we’ll soon get to see a new version of Google’s Android OS.
Yesterday, we reported how we might not get to see Google unveiling either the new OS or the new Motorola and Nexus devices at the upcoming I/O event in May, but could these benchmark results prove us wrong?
