Motorola smartphones are creating hype in the smartphone market that is already dominated by Samsung, Xiaomi or Apple. Though Motorola initially slowed down with smartphone manufacturing, the company has bounced back and is ready to launch two phones toward the end of July, or more precisely on July 28. With the launch date coming closer, several rumors are splurging up on the web regarding the price or specifications of Moto G and latest reports that are available indicates Moto G to be waterproof.
Moto G to be water-resistant but not dust-proof
Water and dust are often found to be the most common reasons for the malfunctioning of phones. Therefore, the reports of Mobile Syrup that Moto G is expected to be water-resistant has delighted many Moto fans, who are anxiously waiting for the arrival of the new handsets.
According to the reports, Moto G has IPX-7 certification, which means it can resist water for 30 minutes or till 1 meter. Though the leaked pictures indicate the phone to be water-resistant, it does not give any clear indication on dust-proofing of the phone. So, users need to ensure that their phones are safe from dust. However, there is still no confirmation regarding the launch of the phone and people will have to wait for official announcement or till the phone comes on shelves.
